I would think the 1956 Musial would be the biggest hit of all.
Another one that got left out of TWO card sets was Billy Martin in 1955. Started the season in the service ... no baseball card picture in Spring Training.

These are money in the bank. PunkRockPaint is on point, too -- both of your '77 Aarons are works of art. But all due respect to Stack, this isn't about pre-fame (rookie) cards. It's about the FINAL card of a great player's career, all too often left out by Topps because the retirement was already announced.
That said, Schmidt should be glad he didn't have to be a part of that gnarly '90 set...
When I was 9 years old and buying packs of 1959 Topps I kept looking for 2 players - Ted Williams and Vinegar Bend Mizell. When I got older I found out about the Fleer contract that necessitated Ted's exclusion, but what about Mizell? Why no '59 card? Would sure love to see your version.
I love that you did this. I was so upset there was no 1990 Schmidt, no 80 Munson, no 80 Brock... I actually almost wrote an article to Beckett urging Topps to make sure they printed a "final" issue of retiring stars. Topps always wants to be current, but so many players deserved that tribute card with their final complete career stats on the back. Well done.

And if you're logging requests, here are two deserving ones, if a little on the solemn side: A '79 Lyman Bostock, and an '80 Thurman Munson.
