The first week of the tournament is over, and there are not too many surprises on the scoreboard. The #14 Rockies are up on the defending World Series champion #3 San Fransisco Giants, but the round is young. Everything else is pretty much on par, or just not noteworthy. The only other interesting match-up is the battle between the #10 Pirates and #7 Brewers, where neither team wants to win. Each team is sporting a 1-5 record.
Perhaps next week the scoreboard will start to get interesting!
